What do you do when the dealerships you sell your cars in are all forced to shut? Well, you open the smallest dealership in the world, naturally. To launch Volkswagen’s new small SUVs in Australia during a global pandemic, and promote how you can buy them online, the ‘World’s Smallest Dealership’ was created. Complete with floor to ceiling glass windows, miniature plant beds, and tiny TV screens, the smallest dealership toured some of Australia’s most iconic landmarks, promoting the small SUV range and the fact you can buy one online. The small dealership went some way in helping generate a mammoth $36 million in online sales for Volkswagen during this time.

The Smallest Dealership was awarded a number of pencils at AWARD Awards as well as four silver’s at Ad Stars in 2021.
